I can’t draw, and I’ve never painted before. Can I still sign up for classes?
Yes! We love beginners! It is our joy to introduce you to the amazing world of creativity. All our courses are perfect for brand new creatives as well as experienced artists, unless specifically stated otherwise.
I’m an experienced artist. Are these courses right for me?
Yes, we have many University trained artists that join our courses because they have lost their passion after years of following traditional art ‘rules’, and being subjected to harsh critiques. They come to the “Allowing” approach to find their own creative voice from within, access intuition, and rekindle their joy.
How do I know what materials I’ll need?
A supply list will be provided either on the registration page, or once you have signed up. You’ll have plenty of time to prepare before the course starts.
What if I have a question during the course? Is there someone to help me?
Yes! Your facilitator will provide you with their contact information if you have any questions relating to the art process. If you have technical difficulties, our Techno-Diva, Sandi is available at firstname.lastname@example.org to assist you.
What kind of computer or equipment do I need to participate in the online courses?
You will need high speed internet access for watching the instructional videos. If you can stream videos on youtube without any issues, you are probably fine.
How much time is required in the courses?
While the course is in session, we encourage you to set aside at least 1 – 2 hours/week to nourish your soul, and keep pace with the group. However, many participants wish to take more time, and you have access to the materials for several months after the course officially ends.
Once I sign up, how do I access my course?
Mark your calendar with the start date of your course. On the day class opens, you’ll receive a special link and password. Save this information in a safe place so you can find your way to the lessons over and over. Many of our courses are ‘downloadable’ and we encourage you to save the videos to your computer in a labeled file as soon as possible for easy review.
I notice there are support groups offered via Facebook. How do I get in?
A day or two before your course begins, your facilitator will invite you to join the private group. If you have signed up for your class with a different name other than what you use on Facebook, be sure to email and let her know. Most women love participating. You can share your progress, ask questions, and receive loving support. We encourage participation, however it is totally optional, and many choose to follow their own pace and timing.
Is there support after the course ends?
Yes, our GLOBAL Art of Allowing Community on Facebook offers a thriving circle of continuous support!
What is your refund policy?
Most courses are now offered as ‘Downloadable’ which gives full access the day the course officially opens. Refunds can be granted up until that day.
